So Boutique Beach 2009 has been and gone.

Big thanks to all the players for a great weekend of ulty.  While the rest of the country was wet and stormy, we had fantastic weather and again I got to put away the hot chocolate and get out the iceblocks.

I hope that everyone that played has sufficiently recovered, especially Rudi and Henry who were both injured in the course of duty...

Thanks go out to all as you all did lots to help me keep the tournament running - scoring games, setting up the field, putting up and putting away the marquee, running errands, putting away the food, and the list goes on.  Especial thanks go to Liz and to Isaac without whom we would have not only had no equipment at the beach, we also would not have had any dinner.  Thanks heaps guys.

And of course extra special thanks to my husband Mike who has done so much behind the scenes preparations, as well as lifting and carrying all weekend and cleaning up after me all day Monday.  Thanks honey!

There were some great costumes again this year - hopefully the photos will be posted soon.  I think my favourites were Rapunzel and Puss N Boots.  Top marks again to everyone who managed to get dressed up in full costume in the dark in a camping ground.
